Step Into the Christmas Story
King's Daughters Christmas Devotional .jpg

"He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest...and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Luke 1:32,33

Dear King’s Daughter,

Merry Christmas! Isn't it amazing that how many men and women God used in the Christmas story? Each had their own part to play God's perfect plan.

How will you step into the Christmas story this year? How will you respond to the most precious gift the world has ever received: JESUS.

Will you rest in Him? Get to know Him? Worship Him? Go tell the nations about Him? Ask the Lord and He will show you!

One way you can tell others about Jesus is giving them Scripture inspired gifts. See our gift guide below for meaningful, life-impacting gifts for the women and girls in your life–at every age and stage.

Blessings to you and yours this Christmas,
Ginnie & Sarah Johnson

Dear King's Daughter,

Are you ready to see the men in your life live with passion for the Lord, godly character, and great success? Are you ready to see God’s Word at work in their lives? Great! Let us introduce “Secret Gardening with A-Z Men of the Bible,” a Scripture based prayer model that the Lord gave me to pray for my husband over 22 years ago.

In 1996, the Holy Spirit led me to study A-Z Men of the Bible. Then the Lord told me, “Send forth My Word into Wayne’s life.” I began praying for my husband by putting his name in key Scriptures associated with each biblical man. I thanked the Lord that He would continue to grow and prosper Wayne as a mighty man of God. And God did it, just like His Word says.

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways...For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud...So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:8-11

Like “Jack and the Beanstalk,” I started seeing Abraham’s faith, Joshua’s success,  Solomon’s wisdom, and more in my husband. Now, we want you to see “Secret Gardening” at work in the men in your life.

How do you Secret Garden? Simply use the verses above, personalizing each one with the name of your husband, father, son, brother, co-worker, or friend!

We also created a guide for you: Trading Up  •  A Woman’s Guide to Praying for the Men in Your Life - which guides you through Scriptural prayers with A-Z Men of the Bible.

So let's trade in worrying and nagging and trade up to believing God’s Word, praying God’s Word, and watching God’s Word at work in all the men in your life!

5x7 Print__ Jeremiah .jpg

Dear King's Daughter,

This month, we are excited to give you regal reminder in God's sovereignty and faithfulness. Jeremiah 29:11 gives us absolute assurance of God's incredible plans your life. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).

We pray you wholeheartedly trust in God's timing and purposes. In every season, He is good. His plans are for your hope and future. His plans are for His glory and your blessing! Continue to spend time in His presence and in His Word. He will reveal His kingdom plans for you step by step, day by day.

Dear King's Daughter,

Can you believe spring has sprung? Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping, and Easter and Passover are coming! Easter and Passover are powerful times to reflect on the priceless gifts made available to us by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In true King’s Daughters form, we made an A-Z list on the cross above (and this is just the beginning). Take some time to look up each verse and enthralled all over again by the power and purpose of the cross!

Here are a handful of verses...

HIS All “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.” Luke 15:31

HIS Deliverance “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” Luke 4:18

HIS Greater Works “The works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” John 14:12

HIS Inheritance “Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.” Col. 1:12

HIS Triumph “Thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ,” 2 Cor. 2:14
